Bob Rich’s Expertise Bob Rich is a writer who has authored over 100 short stories & over 100 poems. He has worked at READING PARTNERS as a literacy intervention tutor, to help elementary school students in their reading skills. He was recently a journalist for THE TOLUCAN TIMES, a weekly newspaper distributed to 125,000 people. For this newspaper, Bob interviewed writer/producer MARC ZICREE about his 3rd edition of THE TWILIGHT ZONE COMPANION, the definitive book on the show, and Bob has also reviewed plays such as SHAKESPEARE'S HAMLET and CINDY LOU JOHNSON'S BRILLIANT TRACES. In December 2017, on TheForeignFilms.com, a musical fantasy mini-novel was released that Bob co-wrote with musician BILL MAJOROS. Bob has also written books for kids. Bob's poetry was published in NAJI NAAMAN's FOUNDATION's 2013 international writing contest, chosen as one of 54 prizewinners from 1,362 writers who submitted. He has poems published in two other volumes. He works as a background actor with CENTRAL CASTING on TV shows such as THIS IS US, VEEP, 9-1-1 & NCIS. Bob is a founder of a Facebook group dedicated to BREAKING BAD and BETTER CALL SAUL with many cast and crew members from both shows participating. With the RED CROSS, Bob helps clients find missing relatives separated by war and natural disasters, including loved ones separated by the Holocaust. Bob's charity writing: managing the RED CROSS's RESTORING FAMILY LINKS program in LA including biographical & promotional content, authoring biographies for STEVEN SPIELBERG's Holocaust history institute the SHOAH FOUNDATION, and writing for the LA MUSEUM OF THE HOLOCAUST. In 2003, Bob was selected from 900 offices of the RED CROSS to receive the Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award for effectively informing the public about research services on relatives and friends separated by the Holocaust. Bob composed the GROSSMAN BURN FOUNDATION's HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE MANUAL and is a member of their Board of Ambassadors. Bob's work in music: publicizing a benefit concert featuring BRIAN WILSON of THE BEACH BOYS, writing for the LA MUSIC CENTER, and being a music DJ on AM/FM radio.
