In 2003, Bob was selected from 900 offices of the RED CROSS to receive the Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award for effectively informing the public about research services on relatives and friends separated by the Holocaust. Bob composed the GROSSMAN BURN FOUNDATION's HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE MANUAL and is a member of their Board of Ambassadors.
