I am an experienced user of the Federal Aviation Administration's airport and airspace noise model, the Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT), and Braunstein + Berndt’s SoundPLAN. My recent projects include extensive analyses of airport ground noise issues at Vancouver International Airport, Philadelphia International Airport, T. F. Green State Airport, General Mitchell International Airport, Logan International Airport, Port Columbus International Airport, and Reid Hillview Airport. I have conducted community noise measurements of aircraft operations as well as aircraft source spectral and directivity measurements. I've evaluated existing ground noise conditions as well as proposed alternatives involving taxiway improvements, revised aircraft fleet, optimal aircraft orientation and placement, and barrier construction using SoundPLAN, the AEDT, and custom spreadsheet noise models.
