I work with the Marketing team to develop our vertical strategy. We develop a client process for each targeted segment .. including target profiling, key contact identification, messaging, and follow up. I also work with the Marketing team to develop the company promotion strategy, including comprehensive networking event planning, development of white papers and other promotional material. . I have ownership of the complete sales process, from initial customer identification and engagement, through customised solution development, to closing of the sale. Due to the consultative nature of the sale, which has an average cycle time of 1-2 year, my focus is on multi million opportunities with senior level (Dir, VP..) contacts in blue chip medical and technology companies. Due to the complexity of the solution and size of team involved, I manage single or multi site (or region) teams and multiple client stakeholders (finance, operations, sales, Q&R etc.). I therefore need to be conversant in the key considerations for each stakeholder, and have the ability to develop personal and trustful relationships with each key stakeholder. A key to success, is to continue to work and refine this process, so that I have multiple opportunities with multiple clients in operation at all times, and be able to manage my time to give all clients the right focus at the right time. Most importantly, I can only be successful with the support of a good team.
