  Happy New Year to everyone!!! I am currently in search of a new job or as I like to sometimes call it a new place to call “home.” I absolutely love the hospitality industry! I have said for years this business is something that is born inside of an individual, by this I am saying yes we can train our Managers and employees to say the correct responses and to make the right decisions but there are a very limited amount of individuals on this planet who have that mindset of always putting the guest first and making sure that they are going above and beyond to ensure that the guest has been taken care of and is truly happy and feels like you really do care about there situations. Now granted we all know that there are those guests that we will just call “those that got away from us.” However, this individual will still have done everything possible to go above and beyond to make this individual happy! Though it can be challenging from day to day with the reports and the meetings, phone calls and emails these things do not ever put weigh the true pleasure it is to see a family celebrating a get together or a very special milestone in all of their lives! This is why I love this industry it is all I have done since I was a little guy standing at the carving station of my mothers best friends catering company wearing a chefs hat! It was fun, exciting and fabulous over 30 years ago and it is still today 30 years later. I feel like I am this unique individual that brings the hospitality industry one thing that I see everyday slipping away from this wonderful and exciting career. I am excited to see what adventure and successes my next “New Home” and chapter in my life brings me, I hope that it will be with your company and you!
