Identify Key Value Items working with a cross-functional team (Consumer Insights, Merchandising, Pricing) to analyze customers’ baskets and purchasing habits. Create revenue and margin forecasts based on internal data, price elasticity, competitive benchmarking, and external market trends. Lead the analysis and execution of corporate pricing projects to improve the price positioning in Alabama resulting in above average growth of units and sales. Develop the process of gathering, analyzing and reporting competitive data and pricing trends across the organization. Support Top Management with Ad Hoc analysis and report.In charge of the General Merchandise price analysis. Develop price tracking tools to check gap versus competition. Work with the Merchandising team to develop strategies and ensure Wal-Mart offers the best value to the consumers. Responsible of monitoring inventory levels. Coordinate inventory reduction initiatives in order to keep inventory at a minimum without affecting customer service. Responsible for financial analysis, monitor profit margins and support Finance department forecast and accounting procedures. Develop and train buyers on planning tools and merchandise finance.Develop the Strategic Business Plan. Assist in upgrading Sam’s Club capabilities to meet the challenges of strategies and plans. Provide assistance to general management and stores.Responsible for the value-priced diaper category. In charge of strategic business planning, market development, price policy and offers, coordination of advertising and promotional activities and budget. Coordinate the launch of new products including profitability analysis, cost negotiation, trade presentations and POP materials.
