Midway through my college career, life intervened and took me in an unexpected direction. It was the opportunity to work in the Music Industry. My career began as a College Marketing Rep for Atlantic Records. I then moved through the sales and marketing ranks at Sony Music, Polygram Group Distribution, and EMI Music. From there, I was promoted to build and head up the Digital Sales Department for our indie partner, Caroline Distribution. After Caroline, I was offered the opportunity to oversee North America for a cutting edge international digital music distributor called FUGA. While with FUGA, I was offered a unique opportunity to switch gears from my traditional roles and responsibilities in the music business and work with a company called 237Global. Here we created and managed VIP fan experiences with our touring artists. During my 25+ year tenure in the music industry, I am also a world traveled DJ. This experience led me to found and own a privately funded LLC called Amplified Entertainment, where I would oversee a General Manager and a revolving staff of 5 to 15 employees. Finally, in 2022 I had the extremely exciting, unique and challenging opportunity to work for RWJ Barnabas Health as an EPIC Trainer during their chain wide transition from their old EMR to EPIC. With no clinical experience, I was able to obtain EPIC credentialing certificates in both Behavioral Health and Stork (labor & Delivery). Since I have been credentialed, I have instructed and trained 1000’s of clinical hospital and ambulatory employees, some roles include Directors, Managers, Physicians, Nurses, Clinicians/Techs, Therapists, Social Workers, among others. I also provide on-site, hospital/ambulatory "at the elbow" support during EPIC's go-live software implementation waves.
