Throughout my life I have strived to learn all I can about the nature of sound and apply myself to become capable of manipulating and analyzing its nature. For example, many of the products I designed were intended for marine applications and required both a high degree of creative engineering to design as well as a number of considerations for environmental suitability. I have managed a multitude of acoustics projects during my audio tenure, ranging from simple to much more complex, sometimes even designing full product lines or systems, and frequently consulting with integration technicians about the best product solutions for their projects. I have designed systems ranging from basic stereo systems to full commercial-level Dolby Atmos theaters. This required creative management of budgets as well as design constraints and performance requirements. I've also done extensive field-work including manual calibration of complex audio systems as well as providing technical training to a variety of groups including international distributors and other technical staff. I have extensive experience with a variety of measurement techniques and software including CLIO, Loudsoft, LMS, Klippel, EASE, and several others. I have also worked with a wide variety of DSP platforms, and have been certified for Q-sys level 2.
