  I fell into this construction business quite by accident. I was a full time musician, back in the 90’s, gigging out 4-5 times a week and somehow paying the rent. When I had my first child I decided I needed a “real” job. A friend of mine introduced me to theatrical carpentry. I built scenic elements and props for a wide variety of shows in and around Boston. I eventually became the Master Carpenter at the Boston Lyric Opera. While there, I met a guy who owned a small residential remodel company and worked as his lead carpenter for several years. We built a few additions, including an Endless Pool installation, behind a garage we built from the ground up. After that, I started working for a commercial finish contractor installing cabinets, doors and hardware and s&r trim. Within six months, I was the Foreman on a job site responsible for 256 units in an assisted living complex. For the past ten years I’ve been working for a super high end builder all over New England. I was part of an install crew traveling by plane, train and automobile to several amazing job sites. Living on the road took it’s toll on me and I found myself looking for a job closer to home. I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my life with a new company that shares my values and commitment to each other.
