Specialized knowledge includes: component design for extreme temperature environments, CTE matching and mitigation, ceramic component design, atmosphere control and oxidation prevention, and high efficiency compact heat exchanger design. Critical thinking skills and a logic oriented approach to problem solving have been crucial resources throughout my career. The desire and ability to quickly transition from field work to theoretical design keeps my mind flexible and is often the impetus for new ideas and solutions to complex problems.
