Over the course of ten years, we created numerous prototypes to fulfill a variety of performance specifications in 2.4 million worth of contracts for the Department of Defense, ranging from sub-millisecond reaction times to 90% transmission lenses to curvable plastic substrates. Light weight was always a key goal, and our latest glare blocking glasses were able to run for hundreds of hours on just two watch batteries. During the last 5 years as Automation Systems Scientist at Data Science Automation, I have been connecting computers to the physical world, where I program real time operating systems and FPGAs for rapid dynamic responses to real world events.
