I have first-hand witnessed leadership at its best and I have been taught valuable lessons in business, leadership, psychology and philosophy by some of the premier thinkers and professors around. And now in the second part of my career I can give back all what I have learned and experienced to organisations that fight great causes for special needs children, refugees, and people in need. This gives me a deep sense of meaning and fulfilment and each day I strive to contribute in the best way that I can. I do this by keeping myself up to date with the latest research in psychology, pedagogy, teaching, neuroscience and not the least IT. In the age of digital transformation, I see tremendous opportunities to further help children with special needs. Help then learn quicker and with deeper understanding. Help them navigate socially as well as personally in today's society. In short, help them to live a valuable and self-supporting life. I am passionate about IT, and it is incredibly exciting and fun to be part of three start-up IT companies that with impressive speed constantly seek to explore the opportunities that are presenting themselves in the areas of big data, IoT, AI, etc. Most importantly, I have founded the non-profit organisation, Drive, and with our practice lab and special needs schools I strive every day to improve the quality of the work we do and to share and capture important insights of how to help neurodivergent and special needs children.
