Christopher Reid’s Expertise I originally started my nursing desires all the way back in high school with an interest in Microbiology. As I have grown and matured I found that there is a huge reward in helping and serving other through medicine. I started me the medical world in 2013, working as a front desk receptionist at a family practice clinic that does acute and chronic care. In 2015, I began an LPN program where I developed and learn nursing skills. My mother is a nurse practitioner and has been guiding and teaching me how I can be the best nurse. I have a brother and sister-in-law that are both doctors and have been encouraging my thought process and critical thinking skills. They all three still encourage me to improve all my skills on a daily basis. I have been working as an LPN for about 5 years at the same clinic. I am currently studying and working towards the goal to get my ADN RN. I also have plans to get my BSN and then DNP. I also still have been considering a career in the military as an officer.
