Clint Flanigan’s Expertise Following registration in 2005 my initial experience was in Hospital Pharmacy practice working in both The Royal Melbourne and Frankston Hospitals. In 2006, I moved to Echuca/Moama and transferred practice to community pharmacy, initially between 3 pharmacies in Echuca. In 2008, I accepted a position as pharmacist in charge of Moama Village Pharmacy, then subsequently accepted as a partner in 2008. We aim to provide a strong focus on professional services including - Medscheck - Pharmacotherapy - Wound care - assessment & management - Dose administration aids - Weight loss program - Home medication review - Diabetes education - Asthma education I have also had vast experience with pharmacy automation, with the installation of a Willach automated dispenser in 2009 and Webstercare automated packing machine in 2012. In 2007 I completed AACP consultant pharmacist accreditation providing home visit and residential medication management services Echuca/Moama Pharmacies. In 2011, Optimise: Medication Management Services was formed, providing a direct referral option for Home medication review. Additionally I specialise in other medication management services including - Residential medication reviews - Quality use of medicines - Staff, patient, carer & student education. Specialties: Accredited consultant pharmacist - providing home medicine reviews, a patient focused service aimed at optimising medication management. In 2017, investigation between sleep disturbance and chronic patient care led to the rollout of our sleep apnea service offering, and partnership with Air Liquide Healthcare. Subsequent to this development, in 2019, saw the launch of our online sleep apnea website 'Counting Sheep' at www.countingsheep.com.au In 2018, I obtained accreditation as a credentialed diabetes educator with the implementation of this program in April 2019. To date, this program has provided bulk billed diabetes education within the community pharmacy setting.
