Clint Gosch’s Expertise I'm passionate about the aerospace industry and have an insatiable interest in anything from light aircraft, to spacecraft. I currently hold a private pilot's certificate and have approximately 500 hours in various light aircraft, including powered parachutes, and most single engine trainers. Since 2018 I have flown a Zenith CH750 STOL which I built from plans over the course of 7 years. I completed the flight test program in 2019 and have enjoyed many adventures since. I have presented a "Plans Building" seminar at the Zenith Aircraft Factory since 2020 and very much enjoy speaking to prospective aircraft builders about their goals in aviation. Employed by Collins Aerospace since 1998 I was hired into Collins as a production test technician and supported various projects including ACARS (CMU-900), and SATCOM (SDU-906). In 2007 I was hired as a Sr. Electronics Technician in the Collins Display Center R&D lab, supporting various flight deck display platforms such as the Boeing 787, 777X and 737 Max, as well as various military fixed wing and rotary wing platforms such as Chinook, UH60, B2, F22, F18 Swiss, and F15J. In 2019 I was promoted to Master Engineering Technician and continue to support electrical, mechanical, optical, software, and VHDL engineers in integrating and verifying display system functions across all five engineering disciplines. My current duties are varied and can include anything from designing lab test boxes and qualification test cabling, building and modifying engineering prototype boards or top level LRUs, assisting electrical engineers with integrating complex circuit cards, creating hardware verification test setups for software and VHDL engineers, performing and sometimes creating RFS hardware verification procedures for FPGA and embedded uC code. Clear communication and good organizational skills are key in bringing all the engineering disciplines together to deliver a highly reliable solution to the end customer. I also provide factory collateral support for projects I have previously supported through development. I have authored three patents and have been listed as co-author on two others. Problem solving as a team or individually provides me with a great deal of satisfaction. Developing new processes, evaluating new technology, and helping to create highly reliable systems is very satisfying. I am always on the lookout for new opportunities with companies who truly appreciate employees who are passionate about everything aerospace, and provide uncompromising solutions to their customers.
