My research into the increasingly consumer-driven influences on brand meanings in new communications environments helps to inform my own teaching about branding. My approach to teaching innovation is based on both scholarship and practical experience as an entrepreneurial employee in book publishing and as co-founder of a successful internet-based start-up. It's rewarding to be able to bring this range of insights into both the classroom and the boardroom. I'd describe myself as an enthusiastic educator, researcher, manager, innovator and entrepreneur.
