  I am a Police Commander in the best city in the World (Austin) which is the 10th largest city in the United States. Being a police officer and serving the community that I grew up in, has always been my childhood dream, and especially following in my fathers shoes as an Austin Police Officer. I graduated from Texas State University, with two degree's in Criminal Justice and Psychology. I have worked in Law Enforcement for the last 27 years, starting with the Sheriff’s Department, then with the Austin Police Department and fulfilling my childhood dream. I have climbed up the ranks and had numerous positions through out my law enforcement career. One of my proudest and most rewarding jobs was working as a Detective assigned to the Child Abuse Unit with the Austin Police Department. Helping and defending defenseless victims was my main motive of being a police officer when I was a kid. During my career and currently, I have also been tasked to run and oversee all police Operations for the annual South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin Texas. SXSW is one of the biggest global conferences around. There is nothing else close to it in comparison. SXSW is 3 week global conference of film, interactive media, education and music festivals. So much planning and organizing goes into this event, to make it one of the safest events in Austin. People from all around the World visit Austin and attend the SxSW festivities. I continue to work hard everyday and take those opportunities to challenge myself everyday. Currently, I am the Central West Area Commander and previously was the Downtown Area Commander, which I oversaw all Downtown Operations and Special Events in Austin. Hobbies of mine when I am not working is going to the gym and playing tennis. Another interest of mine is that I love travelling the Globe! The World is a diverse place and I love melting into it. 🌎 Retired from the Austin Police Department in early 2023, to further explore my business in Security Consulting, Private Investigations and Executive Protection; both domestically and internationally. 🇫🇷 Austin Police Department
