I assisted NTUA with improvements to their electrical power lines by restoring the current lines with new equipment I seen necessary from surveying the current power lines. I implemented the current power line conditions and got the line crew to replace transformers, resistors, reclosers, pin insulators and most electrical components pertaining to phase 1 & 2 power lines. I helped improve NTUA's GIS mapping program by implementing the updates along with pole #'s for old and new power lines not on the GIS system currently. The current condition of the GIS software at that time had only a few thousand poles updated on the system and at that time NTUA currently was going into the 100 thousands across the Navajo Reservation. This improved the process of checking pole conditions, saving NTUA time and money through the ease of locating and estimating future outages. I also did many surveys using Telecom survey equipment, I designed and drew up power line designs on AUTOCAD and created estimates on Estimator software for customers and also upgrades to NTUA's current system.

I help update electrical schematics on AutoCAD for draglines 8750, 7920 & 1350. My major project for the summer was to design & configure a floor plan for the new shelves for the current warehouse on AutoCAD which in return saved BHP thousands of dollars due to loss of dragline parts being ruined by harsh weather conditions. I attended weekly meetings for the engineering department which we gave weekly updates on currently projects. I created specific measurements of current warehouse and created possible shelves reconfiguration in AutoCAD along with final project presentation in MS PowerPoint.

I assembled & package crates for heater coils, using techniques that were more efficient and reliable. I welded portable carriers for heater coils. I also loaded and operated machinery that heat pressed their largest heater coils. Learned about high quality installation of heater coils into the crates and packaged for shipment. Communicated the critical tasked and assignments prior to shipment.
