I have had several opportunities to put these into use. In my photography business I have met with many failures and had my ego bruised when I did poorly in my first few years. When I was a campaign manager I experienced the pain of losing, but was able to open my mind to the needs of people from many different walks of life. The same rang true for my internship. I was able to see the good and bad of partisan politics, and better navigate those choppy waters. As a manager in the printing plant I found that some people are intolerant towards mistakes. To work with people like that, one must find a balance of ego. I have experienced various failings as a student as well. But I have not let them keep me down. I continue to grow and learn from the past. This has led to successes in each of those positions that balanced the failures and mistakes. Successes that taught me how to adapt, how to learn, how to improve myself and others. Successes that justify mistakes and failures.
