He also helped to either reconstruct or develop new departments by defining pipeline management and file-flow management, maximizing profitability and minimizing risks to companies. His successful career in capital markets, operations, and as a sales leader have earned him the reputation of a respected leader in the mortgage industry. Dan currently serves on the NRMLA/HUD and NRMLA State and local Regulatory committees. He has also served on committees for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA). He was on the NRMLA Board of Directors and the HECM Mortgage-Backed Securities committee (GNMA). In 2009, he was co-chair of the NRMLA HECM for Purchase (H4P) committee. Being a strong advocate of the H4P and believing it will be a viable program in years to come, Dan was instrumental in assisting HUD and NRMLA in bringing the purchase option to the reverse mortgage industry. Along with serving at the national level, Dan has served on numerous Colorado Mortgage Lender Association (CMLA) committees including the Legislative Committee and the Board of Directors.
