I founded Punk Science Studios Inc. in 2015, a platform with which to explore the most effective and positive aspects of development and studio culture. My small team worked on several contracts and shipped the official app for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. We proudly partnered with Halifax's own Adaptiiv to work on medical technology to help optimize radiation cancer treatment. In 2017 I brought that team to Gogii Games and opened their Halifax-based studio. We grew to 20 people and the studio shipped multiple successful mobile titles before I left to join Ubisoft Halifax. I believe strongly in the power of autonomy, personal accountability, team chemistry and cross-discipline collaboration to amplify creativity and productivity. As a leader, I believe my primary responsibility is the elimination of obstacles and extraneous processes.
