In 2013, the Fortwood Clinics in Chattanooga, TN were merged with McNabb, and a few months later, the clinics of Child and Family Services of TN also merged with McNabb. I love our center's slogan: "Improving the lives of the people we serve"​. Pat Summit was a huge supporter of the company and their mission, which was wonderful! We also have several benefit shows or sponsored events during the year that raise money for the Center. Prior to Helen Ross McNabb Center, I worked at Goody's Family Clothing, Inc. from April 1989 until they went out of business in March 2009. I moved from Computer Operator to Senior Systems Analyst, worked with COBOL and VB6 applications for all our store locations. At the peak of the company's growth, there were 385 stores in the Southeast. I can honestly say it was a great company to work for, and the 19 years of experience I gained there has proven to be extremely valuable at McNabb. I suppose it's true that all good things come to an end. Sadly. I also enjoy working with graphics and video, or multimedia in general. In fact, each new VB program I created had a dash of my graphical talent in it, from splash screens to the user interface.
