Chief Sklarek is an active instructor for the Criminal Justice Academy of Osceola and also teaches advanced classes in leadership as well. In 2009, Chief Sklarek became the Volunteer Director of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics Florida and oversees the LETR for the state of Florida. Chief Sklarek serves as a board member for Community Vision, the Public Safety Coordinating Council and chaired the County’s Substance Abuse Policy Advisory Board. Currently serving as the Director of Public Ranges for Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
