Dave’s over 15 years of experience building brand, content, and social strategies have afforded him a prestigious list of awards, including a 2017 EMMY nomination for Ad Council campaign #WeAreAmerica and multiple Cannes Lions, D&AD Impact, Shorty, Webby, and Clio awards. For the '16-'17 and '17-'18 NBA seasons, Dave helped ESPN redefine their audience in his award-winning strategic analysis that uncovered “The Four Minute Fan.” His research defined a key audience for the sports brand and informed campaigns aimed at converting Four Minute Fans and driving live tune-in. The research empowered ESPN to tap into culture and key sports moments to tell sustained stories and deeply engage their fan base, leading to the launch of a new platform for ESPN to promote their NBA games. The work won Dave and team an ARF Ogilvy Award for Changing Consumer Behavior. In 2017, Dave rolled out LEGO’s first global holiday campaign in years, “Shake Up Imagination.” Additionally, he led communications planning the past four years for The Ad Council’s award winning Love Has No Labels campaign including #WeAreAmerica. This work earned him prestigious accolades, including an Emmy nomination, and Jay Chiat, Webby, D&AD, and Shorty awards. He’s overseen all of Verizon’s augmented reality experiences and currently leads the AR strategy for the telecom company within the agency. Dave has contributed his knowledge to talks at SXSW, Columbia Business School, Fashion Forward Commerce, and has guest lectured at NYU Stern Business School and Iona College.
