  I grew up in a sports obsessed part of Western Pennsylvania where we idolized names like Namath and Dorsett. I loved playing football and baseball but I didn't truly find my voice until an incredible theatre teacher introduced me to the arts.  I dabbled in a greatest hits of majors across three colleges, wrestling with my desire to leave home and the small town voice inside my head telling me not to. But the summer after my Junior year I visited friends in New York and knew it was where I had to be.   Upon graduation, I took the first flight of my life from Pittsburgh to LGA on Northwest Airlines (RIP). Getting acclimated to the city was challenging and I gladly took every production job thrown my way. Short on funds, I didn't have the luxury of focusing on a specific genre of content and as a result, I learned to produce just about everything.. Docs, Reality, Food, Game Shows, True Crime and even Wrestling. I directed, shot, edited and wrote countless scripts (including the obligatory un-produced screenplay every New Yorker writes.) In the process, I had the opportunity to learn from the smartest, hardest working people in production. In January of 2018, I was lucky enough to meet Dan Porter and the leadership team at Overtime. The company was a year old and had around 10 full time employees. I was captivated by Overtime's mission of creating content for underserved audiences and moved by their remarkable culture. I knew it was a special place and couldn't wait to get on board. As Senior Executive Producer / Head of Video, I've watched our team go from a hundred thousand followers to over 80 million. We've done this by listening to our audience and creating engaging content in their voice. As legacy media continues to flounder, we've grown exponentially. While I'm proud of our past and focused on the present, I couldn't be more excited about our future. We're expanding our reach all while staying true to our core goals and protecting the culture.   My biggest influence growing up was the late Steve Sabol of NFL Films. He was a visionary who combined classical music and poetry with beautifully shot footage during an era when avant-garde thinking in sports was non-existent. When asked about his philosophy Sabol said, "I make the small decisions with my head and the big decisions with my heart."  Please stay tuned to everything we're doing at Overtime.
