Public Accounting enabled me to develop skills integral to my lifelong career such as deadline management, organization, detail-orientation, and communication with high-profile business leaders. Following my 2 year stint in Public Accounting, I transitioned to an in-person position at Hometown Food Company, where I still perform necessary accounting responsibilities, but have pivoted to a more finance and analytic-oriented role. Using a variety of skills, including deadline and priority management, effective communication, and detail orientation, I have been able to balance weekly objectives and alternate between departmental functions and provide each manager with quality and thorough work. Currently, I am looking to wrap up obtaining my CPA and begin aligning my goals to work at a senior level. Hometown Food
