Key projects included the guidance of a start-up technology company to the public market; served as an advisor in formulating and assisting a leading privately held real estate property management and technology group develop and execute the owneru2019s exit strategy with the sell to a publicly-traded company and expanding the footprint of a leading national commercial real estate firm. In addition, I consulted on projects in the sports and entertainment sectors. I remain active as a member of the Fairview Technology Board and mentor entrepreneurs.My role at Hemisphere Property Group was focused on business and relationship development with large tract landowners, investment banking groups and potential financial partners. In addition, I maintained relationships with national retail executives (both traditional and outlet retailers). We had $100,000,000 of anchored, retail shopping center developments in the pipeline when the financial meltdown occurred. One of the properties was built and operates succesfully today.Among my experiences derived from working in an entrepreneurial environment included leading a financial turnaround and a leveraged-buyout acquisition of Retail Company that we grew to 185 stores and 1,100 Associates. Ignorance can be bliss and that mindset lead me to be one of the 1st retailers to develop and grow of one of the first national retail concepts in what today is known as u201cPop Up Storesu201d (known as u201ctemporary retail for many years). I lead development and growth of a retail concept in the Outlet Sector of Retail. As part of the Outlet Sector, I Co-Chaired the National Industry Trade Group comprised of Retail and Development Executives. All told, I have enacted in real estate transactions in 43 states with well over 10,000,000 leased in every imaginable retail setting. With over 23 years of active involvement in the retail, brokerage and development sectors of Commercial Real Estate Development, I have an extensive national network of key executives that I maintain long-standing relationship with.
