Independent Sales & Marketing (July 2012 - Jan 2013) This is a customer-oriented group that manages the MyStore® website in which independent stores can log on and check financial, delivery, and order information.I interned at PPL (Pennsylvania Power & Light) in the Supply Chain Department. I worked on several projects such as: 1. Overhauling and revising corporate supply chain policies 2. Developing an environmental survey to gauge the environmental commitment of top suppliers 3. Building an Excel model to estimate energy usage and GHG emissions generated by PPL’s facilities for future efficiency initiatives.This is part of Lehigh's IPD (Integrated Product Development) course in which companies sponsor teams to help them solve novel problems: Our team was backed by Ethicon (Surgical Care subsidiary of J&J) to come up with a viable idea and prototype for better wound closure after endoscopic surgery.This was part of summer study abroad program in Galway, Ireland. A team of students and a professor helped consult for the Galway City Museum to suggest ways to draw more visitors and improve visitor experience. Our method was to survey museum visitors about areas such as customer service, exhibit quality, and ease of navigation.
