In this capacity, I drafted their awards for the arbitrators. This experience has assisted me as a full time arbitrator and trade representative. In 2011, I was General Editor of the textbook “Shipping and International Trade Law – Jurisdictional comparisons” (Sweet & Maxwell). The volume contained chapters describing in comparative terms the treatment of key legal issues in the fields of shipping and international trade in 25 countries. My tasks included participating with colleagues in the preparation of questionnaires designed to elicit comparative treatment of specific topics in each jurisdiction; participating with my colleagues in the drafting of the chapter on the law of England and Wales; editing the book as a whole; writing the Foreward and commissioning the Preface from the President of Cargill.
