 Staying true to my passion, I pursued a career in the creative arts, exploring a diverse range of mediums from traditional illustration and graphic design to cinematography and animation, as well as branding and marketing. I consider myself fortunate to have been given opportunities to utilise these skills in professional roles involving creative direction, filmmaking, social media, marketing, communications and management. 
Yet while following a pathway in the creative industries, and bypassing a classical teaching vocation, I remain excited to teach people something new. Helping foster proverbial lightbulb moments furthered my drive for visual teaching, explanation and communication methods. Upon reflection, I have become more intentional to integrate this passion for revealing knowledge, with real-world creative expression. Essentially, the core values of my journey can be distilled into this guiding principle: ’to bring light’. It appears
philosophically through the act of revelatory teaching; practically through the visual medium of film and screen; and personally through my life and character. I am grateful for the many great opportunities I’ve had to explore and hone these parts of who I am and I believe that they bring a unique diversity for the benefit of organisations, teams, communities and individuals.
