Over the years the IQVIA philosophy changed and we moved away from 3rd parties and built our own facilities in low cost COEs. I spent over a year and a half building out hte Manila Philippine office into a global outsourcing center of excellence. My initial proposal to expand the Manila office to a global production center was followed by a pilot and my role in Manila as the onsite director of Operations at the COE. During my time in Manila, the headcount grew from 70 staff supporting APAC to 500 staff members supporting operational activities for Asia/US/CA/LA & Europe. The significant expansion of the staffing model was the result of the migration of IQVIA work performed by 3rd Party outsourcers in India, back to IMS at a savings of >10 million annually. The Manila facility now has over 2000 staff supporting IQVIA global organizations. After leaving my role in Asia, I joined the US CAN RBU. My role consists of business optimization which touches on many facets of the business, along with Leading the US LeanSigma efforts. Iqvia
