Diva Nagula’s Expertise Dr. Nagula entered the healthcare industry after completing his fellowship training in pain medicine at Emory University in 2004. After realizing the merits of entrepreneurship, he started Southeast Spine and Rehabilitation in 2005. In the 7 1/2 years of his ownership, he grew from a small practice to the largest independent physicians office in Camden Co. He started an ambulatory surgery center in 2007 which was the first of its kind in this geographical region. In 2010, he ventured into Florida and acquired First Coast Pain Management, which at the time was the largest pain practice in Nassau county. Dr. Nagula's knowledge of medicine and delivery of healthcare was just one reason for his success. He stayed abreast of constant changes in medicine including insurance billing and coding and personally developed marketing strategies to expand his practice base. He also expanded services to include physical therapy, durable medical equipment and pharmacy. In December of 2012, he sold his practice to National Pain Care, which is head by his mentor from Emory University. Atlantis Health Group recruited Dr. Nagula to help expand its model across the United States specifically the southeast region. Additionally, Dr. Nagula also is founder of Nagula and Associates, LLC which acts to assist pain management practices in areas of business development and physician billing and coding. Dr. Nagula has decided to expand his medical knowledge and in 2015 enrolled in a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. Upon completion, Dr. Nagula is considering re-entering the medical field and open a boutique clinic emphasizing health and wellness and preventative medicine. Dr. Nagula's most recent venture involved intravenous hydration therapy. An affiliate of The IV Doc, Dr. Nagula has opened a location to service the DC Metro region.
