I am a disabled vet, served on two guided missile destroyers, and reserve duty with a helicopter squadron based out of Norfolk Naval Air Station. I spent several years working as a commercial and industrial electrician, and 19 years as a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician. I have a BS and MS in Chemistry, and conducted trace metal speciation research in the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean.
