Dylan Paul’s Expertise I started as an intern at a small NASA funded SBIR where I designed and 3D printed prototypes for LiDAR ranging equipment and panels to help connect a rocket to ground service equipment (GSE). From there I went full time at that company where I took on more challenging projects, such as designing full test stands for complex telescope testing and fixtures for mounting equipment onto vehicles for testing purposes. I then moved on to Psionic where I helped design an optical head fixture made for space flight, as well as helping to assemble the chassis that is set to reach outer space sometime in the next couple of years. I designed another optical head that was used for a potential project with the U.S. military called SurePath. After my time at Psionic, I transitioned to Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (TJNAF) where I currently help design fixtures for cryomodule testing, as well as designing components that will be installed in the new Brookhaven National Laboratory in the coming years.
