Prof. Shinnick has undertaken economic consultancy work for industry, has served on the Board of the National Consumer Agency (NCA) where he was also Chair of the NCA’s Audit Committee, is an International Reviewer for the Czech Science Foundation, serves on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Public Policy and the International Economics and Economic Policy. Prof. Shinnick has undertaken several external examiner roles in Ireland and the UK, and is currently external examiner at UWE, Bristol.
