I truly believe entrepreneurship can change the world and the program embodies my belief that teaching basic business skills can change the course of someone's life. I first went to Zambia in 2013 to launch an entrepreneurial program and conceived and launched their first crowdfund for Innovation Labs in Refugee Camps in 2017. In 2022 I spearheaded an initiative to help refugees find jobs commensurate with experience, driving the private sector to partner with Refuaid - pulling together over 200 large companies to fund, employ and teach english. I’m also lucky to have been selected by The Telegraph in 2012 to launch the business column in the Wonder Women section early in my career and now regularly contribute to other media And in 2016, I was awarded an MBE for Entrepreneurship by the Queen. Just dropping that in ...! That said, no bio of mine would be complete without mentioning the five stars I gained at my first job at 16 at McDonalds. I'm good at making fries!
