Aside from my own blended cultural heritage, I like to think that San Diego's rich cultural and physical diversity is a reason that I am drawn to Geography and its need to understand both cultural and environmental differences. Previously, I was an education specialist with California State Parks at the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, Silver Strand State Beach, and Border Field State Park.
