Eunice Lievers’s Expertise As part of a team of dedicated, innovative and hard working people we set up and put into operation 3 separate ATCO Communities to house the victims of the 2013 Bow River Flood. An incredible experience of meeting extreme challenges, accomplishing some pretty terrific goals, developing friendships and continual personal growth and self discovery. After the lodges were set up I was responsible for acting as liaison with the housing authority within the Alberta Government and the Siksika First Nation to ensure housing is provided for those individuals who qualify for relief housing. Other duties include leading staff to ensure quality of work is met, making sure ATCO Policies and Procedures are being carried out and followed, conducting daily tool box meetings and weekly health and safety meetings, scheduling staff to provide best possible coverage of all necessary tasks, ensuring smooth operation of the Lodge by conducting regular inspections, working closely with maintenance to ensure the facilities are maintained up to standards, being completely familiar with every inch of the lodge proper and all the components that make it operational and able to troubleshoot when the need arises. I meet as needed with residents to address any concerns there mite be. My scope also includes financial responsibility cost control measures, tracking inventories, purchasing, shipping & receiving, daily and month end reporting, payroll, assisting where needed in all areas of the lodge, working closely with security to ensure the health and safety of residents and staff at the lodge as well as numerous and countless other responsibilities including providing relief management at the other sites when necessary. The list is extensive and never ending, a very challenging and rewarding position.Along with my valuable team of ATCO Structures & Logistics people I am honoured and proud to be opening a new Lodge for TransCanada Pipeline in the North Peace River area. This lodge is constructed using ATCO’s next-generation modular fleet that features contemporary interior upgrades including a modern colour palette, walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms as well as an environmentally-progressive carpet tile that traps airborne allergens and irritants and has a major impact on noise suppression. The project will also contribute to local economic growth and capacity building through ATCO’s joint-venture partnership with the Woodland Cree First Nation (WCFN). TCO and the WCFN will be working together to provide camp services for this project including camp management, catering, housekeeping and janitorial. This partnership has been structured in a way that will allow the WCFN to participate in all facets of the construction and operation of the facility. This promises to be another challenging and rewarding time of growth for myself and my team. We are so looking forward to the coming year in beautiful Northern Alberta.Leading a team of dedicated enthusiastic individuals who are committed to creating and maintaining safe and healthy environment while catering to our client, Valard Construction. The company installing the high power lines from Southern Alberta to Northern Alberta. A project that will be continued in Newfoundland and Labrador. My first position with ASL included the responsibility for processing bed requests, receiving guests, addressing customer complaints, enforcing Lodge and client rules and regulations, purchasing, bookkeeping, month end reporting, daily reporting, coordinating housekeeping, tracking inventory, submitting payroll, shipping/receiving, assisting the manager and acting as relief manager when necessary. Often the Go-To person for whatever was needed.A challenging role which involved recruiting, training, and leading a highly successful team of up to 25 staff. Played a leading role gathering census data during the 2011 census. A great experience to be part of a fast paced team of excellent staff members working together to accomplish a definite goal under sometimes very challenging circumstances.
