I was born in east Tennessee, grew up in Johnson City, and began my engineering journey at Tennessee Technological University in 2015, eventually finding a budding interest in material science and failure analysis. I pursued a 15-month cooperative position with Marvin Windows and Doors after my sophomore year, exposing myself to R&D practices and value engineering. Here I built skills in root cause analysis, product design, PLM, team leadership, communication, and project management. Following my graduation from TTU, I moved to coastal GA and decided to pursue a graduate degree at Georgia Southern University in the fall of 2020. Here I had the opportunity to dig into the aerospace industry, investigating the aerodynamic properties of aircraft wings through the use of modelling and simulation as well as laboratory instrumentation and testing. During this time, I mentored (ensnared) incoming undergraduate students through the basics of aerospace research, increasing my own knowledge along the way. I have developed robust communication skills and find that I can get along with just about anyone. I am a diligent worker and strive to produce the best results possible (if for no one else, for my own satisfaction).
