Nothing destroys trust and respect faster than failing to keep a promise. • Do what works, change what doesn't - Take a step back every once and a while and look at what you're doing and figure out how you can do it better. Try something new. Learn from your mistakes. • Make the most of what you have - When times are lean, be scrappy and find a way to get it done. What Do I Do? I am a software engineering executive. I enjoy helping smaller companies and teams grow and grow up. I bring order to the chaos of startup engineering teams as they start to get too big to call themselves startups anymore.
