Fahiema Davids’s Expertise I have been in the Contact Center industry for more than 10 years. I have a passion for developing others, not only to move up, but to move into roles and department that suit them the best. I started my career in sales as an associate and I always tried to balance my needs as well as the customers to arrive at a mutually beneficial conclusion. I spent a few years in this section of the Call Center industry and it was an experience that taught me a lot and that I fully enjoyed. I then decided to change tracks and moved into the Customer Service side of things. From my first day I knew this was the place for me. I started at the bottom and made was fortunate to gain experience at a variety of contact centers before arriving at Amazon. Again I started as an associate, but moved into a Team Lead role after three months. I thrived in the team lead role as it gave me the opportunity to have a direct impact in the development and progress of associates who reported to me. I was able to assist many of them to move into roles they wanted to be in, from team lead to our QA department. I have also has the opportunity to be a Seasonal Manager twice and gain experience at having a high level view of how each person, team and site plays a role in the bigger picture. I also was able to learn how to manage people as apposed to leading them and knowing the difference. Customer service and associate development goes hand in hand. I firmly believe the saying " A happy worker is a productive worker" and this is what I live by.
