I returned to Australia in 2013 to lead Upstream business development and also represented Shell’s interests in the Arrow Energy joint venture from 2015. In January 2019, I became Vice President for the Shell Energy trading business in Australia, with the remit to enter the domestic power market. This led to the acquisition of ERM Power, B2C retailer Powershop as well as renewable development platforms and resulted in the creation of a successful and growing integrated power and gas business. I had the privilege of running it as CEO Shell Energy Australia until August 2023, when I moved to London to take up the position of Senior Vice President Shell Energy Europe and Emerging Markets Power. I have now been with Shell for over 30 years. I look forward to leading Shell Energy globally and continuing to grow its integrated power, gas and energy solutions businesses, where our purpose is to power progress by providing more and cleaner energy solutions.
