Together with basic and applied research, I also received two proof-of-concept funding for my research ideas connecting academia to industry. Overall, I summarize my profile excellency in following points: • Hydrogen research: Hydrogen production via photocatalysis/electrocatalysis; Immobilized photocatalysis, Hydrogen storage and transport through steel, Steel-Hydrogen interaction under extreme environment • Battery research: Numerous Li- and Na ion battery, synthesis and performances, in-situ and operando battery measurements to study their electrochemical battery mechanisms • Material characterizations: in-house laboratory-based tools such as SEM, TEM, XPS, XRD, TG, UV-vis, AFM, and Electrochemical characterization • Physics of advanced steel: Non-metallic inclusion in steel, Carbon diffusion in steel, Hydrogen interaction with steel, Rapid design strategy of strong and hydrogen and corrosion resistant steel • Advanced Synchrotron and Neutron methods: spectro-microscopy, x-ray absorption spectroscopy, high energy X-rays diffraction and total scattering, atomic pair distribution function • Innovative material synthesis and design: Conventional sintering/solid state method, Wet chemical synthesis, Sol-gel method, Hydrothermal method, Spin coating, drop casting, screen printing • Instrumentation: Designing customized experimental setup for X-ray absorption spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography measurements, Modulation excitation setup, vacuum compatible high temperature setup • Scientific data analysis/Computer skills: GSAS II, Rietveld refinement: FULLPROF; VESTA (3D visualization program for structural models), Imagej: spectromicroscopy, IFEFFIT and JFEFF 8.5 (XANES and EXAFS); Latex, Microsoft word; Origin, Windows. • Programing/computer language: Python, MATLAB, (implemented during respective data analysis) • Supervision/Research Team making skill: Bachelor, Master, PhD, and postdoctoral mentoring/supervision towards achieving a visionary goal, Bringing theoretical/simulation knowledge to experimental level for a common understanding • Leading role in material physics: Over nine years of synchrotron research experiences for metal/steel, oxide, energy materials, structural materials, building materials, recycling materials- to know their functional performance.
