One of my key responsibilities has been to gather, analyse and explain assessment data to my phase, senior leaders and for governors. Data is analysed to identify successes, patterns amongst specific cohorts and find groups on track to achieve expectations. This information is presented and explained as a narrative and a plan for targeted support is identified, with appropriate strategies put into place. Since 2010, I have worked towards the development and improvement of standards in T&L, as part of a development team (2011 to 2013), as a Senior NQT and Schools Direct Mentor (2013 to present) and as an AHT (2019 to present). This has helped me to deliver and impart consistently Outstanding class-based practice with a solid understanding of what the components of brilliant teaching and learning are. Having a grounding in T&L allows me to observe excellent class-based practice which has led me to improve my own teaching.
