  Since graduating, I have gained professional experience in both the legal industry and in financial services as a paralegal and as a paraplanner, respectively, in the Lincolnshire region. Originally from Romford (Essex), I moved to Lincolnshire when I was 8 years old and remained there right through to the entirety of my secondary education. After successfully completing my A-Levels and landing my first choice university, I moved even further north again - Newcastle! I studied hard and fell in love with the city - I hadn't lived in a city-scape since I was in single digits! Thankfully, I graduated with a law degree (LL.B). It was now time to gain meaningful professional experience and so I moved back to Lincolnshire. In both the legal industry and financial services, I have worked directly alongside senior (Partner-level) figures which has allowed me to gain responsibility early on in fast-paced environments. In law, I have practised in Claims and Commercial Litigation; these departments were a perfect chance to apply what I had studied into practice. This also bolstered my ability to critically evaluate arguments and communicate effectively with clients and Counsel alike. I then moved on and started a career in financial services; an industry I had no prior experience in and so I found this to be a worthy challenge to see how I would adapt and transfer my skills. I moved on from this rookie status to working directly alongside the Managing Director and high-net worth clients to help realise their financial goals. Outside of working life, my interests can be summed up in one word - nerd! Ever since a young age, I have thoroughly immersed myself into console gaming and I am more than delighted that it is gaining ever more recognition as a a worthwhile past time. Mainly due to having studied English Literature, I read a lot - from classics like Wuthering Heights to more modern (and my favourite) mediums such as comics (particularly DC).
