  After graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts in English with minors in Women's Studies and LGBTQ+ Studies, I decided to pursue my true passion: assisting college students. During my undergraduate experience, I had a wide variety of experiences that led me to the path of higher education. Like many who enter the field of Higher Education, I got my start in student leadership. I started as a Student Success Leader where I was able to assist first-year incoming students by providing them knowledge and resources that Kent State provided to them to support them through their journey at the university. I went on to teach the class that allows students to apply for leadership positions on campus, The Peer Leadership Training Course, which is peer-instructed by two undergraduate student leaders. I went on to teach this course 2 additional times. I also had the pleasure of having 2 years of experience in Residence Life and Housing as both a Resident Assistant and Security Aide, which allowed me to support students outside of the realm of academics. It was through those experiences that I decided to pursue my Masters degree in Higher Education Administration at Kent State. During the 2 years of the program, I held an assistantship position as the Graduate Hall Director of the first-year student residence hall at the Cleveland Institute of Art in Cleveland, Ohio. I also completed two semester-long internships: one in the Student Success Center at the University of Mount Union and another at the LGBTQ+ Center at Case Western Reserve University. In the spring of 2023, I graduated with my Master's in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs and began working as a Residence Hall Director at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
