  I am currently a freshman honors student from Dayton, Ohio majoring in Finance and minoring in Business Analytics at Miami University’s Farmer School of Business. My time in college has allowed me to solve real life business problems through the First-Year Integrated Core (FYIC) at the Farmer School of Business. In the FYIC, I learned how to approach complex problems from multiple angles and have truly enhanced my critical thinking capabilities. In the FYIC I also learned to communicate professionally, research effectively, think creatively, and use Python and Structured Query Language (SQL) to create a proposal on how to increase home attendance for FC Cincinnati. From the experience I had through the client challenge I learned not only technical skills but also communication skills. Working in a group with three other individuals, it was essential to have seamless communication. I took initiative to peer analyze and communicate with my teammates throughout the project. This strategy led us to placing Top 20 out of 153 teams within the FYIC program. I’m graduating in May 2026 and am interested in finance internships in the Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton areas.
