To define long-term organisational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends. Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators. Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate. Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system. Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met. Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light. Present business development training and mentoring to internal staff. Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities. Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company’s performance. Working from an alpha split, the role involves all aspects of managing accounts in terms of IT Training. The main part involves dealing with and processing any requests for training that come form my customers. This goes from the first stage of a general enquiry, through offering pricing and dates, to processing the order and confirming and booking the delegate(s) on to the courses. Alongside this, building relationships with current and new customers is essential to increase awareness of what we offer and to encourage increasing and renewed business. Developing new relationships is also essential as we look to increase our presence within the IT Training industry. This requires a lot of work through calling and emailing to discuss potential partnerships, that once made, need constant attention to maintain and grow. Beyond the duties of the role, I have increasingly helped with the development and ongoing maintenance of the website. This requires constant work as it is continually developing and changing to meet our own needs and those of our customers.Newfox focus on the provision of the correct IT and communications infrastructure to ensure that organisations key business goals can be realised effectively.
