Information generated, in addition to macroeconomic factors, determined whether or not rates needed to be adjusted. • Developed and maintained a database and spreadsheet that was updated regularly and distributed via the intranet to the field. Branches utilized this information to determine rates and fees charged by local competitors. • Calculated, reviewed, and authorized loans that do not conform to our interest rate guidelines (“price exception”).• Analyzed and negotiated vehicle damages at body shops. • Communicated and explained insurance policies and repair procedures to claimants.• Created company website job aid for customer service representatives to educate customers. The goal was to process simple requests via the website to drive down the volume of incoming calls and the costs associated with that activity ($4.31 per customer service call). • Supervised a team of 6 in mailroom to improve efficiencies in mail and payment processing. • Provided assistance as a “floater” in various departments that were short-handed due to illness or personnel issues. • Mentored team members on proper company procedures and customer service communication. • Negotiated payment arrangements with past due customers. • Pursued at large and in default customers through investigative and legal means.
