Jariel B’s Expertise Great leadership is not guaranteed just because of one's title, tenure, or individual success and accomplishments – it requires being able to authentically inspire PEOPLE to thrive in each of their roles and work together as a team. Leadership requires providing psychological safety by having a great deal of empathy and trust, and the courage to not allow one’s ego to interfere. My leadership awareness has been molded by my relatively accelerated professional experiences of successfully working in many different industries and capacities – each going through various transformations and exposing me to a vast array of leadership styles. I experienced how successful a team can be when in the right environment with the proper amount of support, patience, and resources. I am never satisfied with the status quo, always looking to find new opportunities for growth in both my personal and professional endeavors. I flourish in building cross-functional and external relationships by uniquely recognizing all stakeholders’ interests and finding a resolution. I’ve built my career at the intersection of partnership management, contract negotiations, and operations in life science, aerospace, telecommunications, and DtoC retail. Knowledge Areas: Strategy, negotiations, partnerships, project management, customer experience, contract management, six-sigma, process implementation, brand management, business development, startup financing, planning, sales, contractual law, building strong teams, survey implementation, problem solving, Go-To-Marketing strategy, presentation skills Cover Photo: Hike through Black Hills National Forest near Mt. Rushmore. This year my partner and I decided to embark on a long road trip (3 months and counting) and experience parts of the US we haven’t yet seen. We hiked for a few hours from below the mountain up to Sylvan Lake. It wasn’t easy given the steep and constant change in terrain, but the result of reaching the lake and seeing the view was quite rewarding. The journey greatly increased our appreciation of the lake’s beauty.
