Jason Parsons’s Expertise As an accomplished and dynamic Head of Support and Service Delivery, I have led IT Service Management (ITSM) globally across sectors. I have enhanced services, service levels, technical support, and built a high performing team focused on delivering best practice including ITIL principles. I have held various roles in my career where I have managed the provision of third-party support services, procured services, managed performance, and driven performance. Throughout my career, I have led Service Desk and ITSM functions covering teams of technical support professionals. I have recruited, trained and coached staff and grown the technical services covering Managed Services and Business Apps. I have worked across first, second and project support specialists as well as expanding the team into new markets internationally. I adopt a pro-active approach to supporting projects, manging complex technical issues, and encouraging a positive culture based on service excellence and continuous improvement. I have led and coordinated team training as well as built long term relationships with colleagues, senior stakeholders and suppliers as part of service delivery. I am confident taking on additional responsibilities and prioritising the implementation of a comprehensive service strategy aligned to organisational priorities and risk management. For example, I have developed and implemented ITSM strategies, enhanced KPI performance and expanded services including through third parties. I have delivered a series of projects across migrations, cloud solutions and other technical projects. I enjoy a challenge and believe I would be a valuable addition to any team.
